theGFSI was established by the Director identifying the need for a quality signposting service. Industry, organisations, government and technology developments are changing at a speed now that is proving challenging to keep up with these changes.

 

Having worked as a business consultant within various industries supporting, growth, diversification and Research and Development, the need for access to relevant timely information and sources of support services was identified being harder to access as a result of the many changes in governance and industry.

 

Securing grant funding is a key factor associated with development and growth. Identifying grant funding available relevant to clients was proven a very time consuming exercise as promotion of finance and equity funding was being included in grant funding lists. Listings of grant funding resources was ever changing and proving hard to trace.

 

The time taken to find the resources needed, scanning various sites and information proved very tasking.

 

As a result theGFSI was launched.

 

Andrea is the owner of the business. She has worked within business for over 20 years in various roles including Marketing, Sales, Manager, Board Director and Business Owner working with various industries from Education to Farming and Agriculture and Renewable Energy. Andrea has a key passion for renewable and alternative energy being a strong advocate for the industry and its benefits to all as well as the environment.

 

Alison is the Office Manager responsible for staff and overseeing quality data standards are maintained. She has a wealth of experience being a key motivator within the team. Her skills and genuine interest in the service provided and the variety of content further supports Alison’s positive creative approach ensuring customer service at the forefront of development and day to day activities.

 

Our ambition, as part of our strategy and commitment to the quality to the service is to set up offices in other countries that information is reflective of real time situations and changes in other countries acknowledging government changes.
